Like a train running off the track, Speed Crazy burst off the rails seven years ago, fueled by a passion for true rock'n'roll music. Since then they have blazed a trail through the underground, attacking audiences with their frenetic fusion of twisted rockabilly and manic punk rock.

The results: leaving the stragglers waiting at the station, Speed Crazy has won a league of devoted followers, critical acclaim here and abroad, and have established themselves at the head of a growing East Coast psychobilly scene. With three E.P.s under their belt, as well as numerous U.S. and European compilations, Speed Crazy's recorded legacy speaks for itself.

Unlike the recent wave of trendy swing and rockabilly acts, Speed Crazy is by no means a "retro band". Their music is a direct reflection of the world in which they live - hectic and hard-edged. For Speed Crazy is more than a band: it's a state of mind. It's the soundtrack of a world on edge, of desperate love poised against hate, of the white-knuckled hysteria at the steering wheel of a mad machine spun out of control.
